Spinach Gnocchi

Ingredients:

  • 500 g Spinach
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 5 tbsp. cheese
  • 2 cups white sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Method:

  1. Take a pan add butter and flour and cook it for 2 min and after that add chopped spinach and cook it till the spinach gets cooked and shrinks.
  2. Seasoned the mixture and add cheese and remove off the heat. Allow the mixture to cool down.
  3. Make balls or the gnocchi out of the prepared mixture with the help of a fork by running the small ball on it.
  4. Cook it in the boiling water for 5 min.
  5. Once cooked serve them with white sauce (béchamel) and topped up with the cheese.
  6. Bake it until the cheese melts and has got a little golden color on top.
  7. Serve hot with the garnish of fresh herb.
