Royal Cookies

Cookies are our great friends especially when we have a cup of tea or coffee and cookies can really make our life crunchy and crispy if it is shared with our loved ones.

Someone has rightly said: “my friends are like chocolate chips in the cookie of my life”

For all of your friends out there, we have brought a special recipe of cookie to share with all of you so to make your friendship more meaningful, beautiful and blissful.

Get yourself ready with paper and pen and just preheat your oven now. Let’s get into baking…

Here, we have a recipe of royal cookies…

Ingredients:

1.Butter, 1/2 cup

2.Icing sugar, 1/2 cup

3.Refined flour/maida, 2 cup

4.Rolled oats, 2 tbsp

5.Super seeds(Flax seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds) each 1 tbsp

6.Dried rose petals, 2 tbsp

7.Thandai masala, 1.5 tsp

8.Baking soda, pinch of/around 1/4 tsp

9.Rose essence, 3 to 4 drops

10.Milk as required

Method:

Take a mixing bowl and beat the butter and icing sugar together vigorously till creamy and smooth. Add baking soda and beat it for atleast 6 to 7 minutes until it becomes white. Add rose essence and thandai masala to it. Fold it with spatula.

Add refined flour, rolled oats, rose petals, super seeds( roasted)

And knead the dough well using some milk as required and let the dough get chilled in the refrigerator for half an hour so to make it firm and stop the butter from melting before forming cookies from the cookie dough.

Make lime sized balls from it and flatten them well to form cookies.

Put on the baking tray lined with parchment paper,

Bake them in oven preheated at 180 degree c° for around 15 to 16 minutes till they turn light pink in colour and perfect in texture.

Take them out from the oven and let it rest for around half an hour before serving.

Enjoy this royal cookies with your friends over a cup of coffee or a masala chai.
